Both Hazzard and Hooker were retained and became Champions
Only Hazzard was bred from, providing two litters:.
  • The first in 1991 with reds, from Barilla Zenith
  • The second all black and tan litter from
    Ch. & WTCh. Chasedown Virtuous
    whelped 19-Oct-92
    producing two dogs
    BRIGHTON'S MARSHAL MCCLOUD & MORDECAI
    and two bitches
    BRIGHTON'S MARIAH & MYRTLE.
    This provided David and Elin Richards with one of the their most successful dual purpose bitches, Ch. Brighton's Myrtle of Chasedown
    Myrtle won her 16th C.C. at the Welsh Kennel Club show in 1999, thereby exceeding the record set by Ch. Brighton's Zoë in the 1970s.
    Under the ownership of Sue and Phil Clarke, Mariah also became a Champion, exceeding the number of CCs won by Myrtle in 1995.
    Mariah produced only one hound, but fortunately, this liver and tan bitch has recently continued a line for the Deschamp Kennel.
